PTPN V CPO Productivity Exceeds 2023 Target

PT Perkebunan Nusantara V (PTPN V) continues its positive performance trend. Throughout semester I/2023, PTPN V managed to produce 253.53 thousand tons of crude palm oil (CPO). This achievement exceeded the target of the company’s 2023 work plan and budget (RKAP).
“CPO yield is 21.74 percent or 100.17 percent of the RKAP. Likewise, the productivity of palm kernels also exceeded the RKAP by 102.02 percent.” said the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of PTPN V Jatmiko Santosa in a written statement (25/07/2023).
Reported by riaupo.jawapos.com, within 4 years, PTPN V has been active in carrying out various transformation programs. One of the efforts is reflected in the yield of fresh fruit bunches (FFB). In Semester I/2023, PTPN V managed to produce 722,205 FFB from its core plantation.
From the financial side, PTPN V also recorded positive growth. PTPN V’s total revenue or revenue reached IDR 3.77 trillion, equivalent to 99.93 percent above the RKAP. Likewise, the company’s EBITDA was recorded at IDR 810.34 billion or 113.93 percent of the stipulated RKAP.
“This is a number for which we should be grateful. Although I see there are a number of records and potential that can be maximized until the end of this year. I am sure that the transformation that has been undertaken so far can become a strong foundation to continue to improve the company’s performance in the upcoming Second Semester,” he added.
In addition, as a state-owned company (BUMN), PTPN V also absorbed 450,585 tons of FFB from both partner and plasma farmers. This is in line with BUMN’s vision to develop local farmers.
