The Indonesia Investment and Networking Forum (IINF) shows sustainable investment opportunities in Indonesia. The event, which was held on November 30 2022, seeks to explain the huge investment potential in Indonesia. According to Winanto Adi, Indonesian Consul General in New York, now is the right time to invest in Indonesia (30/11/2022).
“With strong modalities at the national, regional and global levels, I believe that now is the most appropriate time to invest in Indonesia.” said Winanto Adi at the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia, New York. Winanto explained that at the national level, Indonesia has a strong domestic market. This potential is also followed by large human resources.
In addition, Indonesia also has a strong presence at the regional level of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). This is supported by Indonesia’s position as chairman of ASEAN for 2023 with the theme “ASEAN Matters: Epicentrum of Growth”. Meanwhile at the international level, the success of holding the G20 is proof of Indonesia’s ability to encourage global economic cooperation.
Helana Natts, Executive Director of The Greater New York Chamber of Commerce, welcomed this activity. She said that collaboration and partnership are important factors in creating jobs. The continuation of this collaboration will have a positive impact on business growth.
“We look forward to further cooperation between The Greater New York Chamber of Commerce and Indonesia in the future,” said Helena Natts.
IINF 2022 invites more than 50 potential investors from the east coast of the United States to follow the latest updates on sustainable investment opportunities in Indonesia. It is divided into four sectors. Starting from Special Economic Zones, industry, infrastructure, to tourism.
IINF 2022 was held in collaboration with the Indonesian Consulate General in New York, New York’s Indonesia Investment Promotion Center (IIPC), and Broadway Energy. In addition to investment promotion, the activity was also complemented by promotional activities for Indonesian beverage products, namely herbs from Sojamu and coffee.
