Lampung Commodity Exports to Vietnam is Thriving

Lampung province’s commodity exports to Vietnam have increased. This happened to non-oil and gas commodities for May 2023. This non-oil and gas commodities export managed to reach USD 21.98 million.
“This amount has increased compared to April 2023, which was only USD 1.57 million,” said the Head of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) for Lampung Province, Atas Parlindungan Lubis (10/07/2023).
As reported by antaranews.com, He explained that Lampung’s commodity exports in May 2023 rose 1.295 percent from the previous month. Overall, Lampung’s commodity exports to Vietnam, from January to May 2023 period, managed to reach USD 37.77 million.
For information, there are ten main categories of goods exported by Lampung Province in May 2023. This group consists of animal/vegetable fats and oils, coffee, tea, spices, coal, and processed foods from fruits/vegetables. Followed by wood pulp, fish and shrimp, food industry waste/waste, wood, wood products, milling products, and processed meat and fish.
“The main export destination countries for Lampung Province in May 2023 are the United States, China, Pakistan, Vietnam, the Netherlands, Italy, Bangladesh, Japan, India and South Korea,” he added.
