Ganjar Released Cardamom Exports to China

Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo released a shipment of Central Java cardamom exports to Guangzhou, China. This release was carried out at General Ahmad Yani International Airport, Semarang, Central Java. On that occasion, Ganjar witnessed these commodities enter the cargo of the Garuda Indonesia airline (13/04/2023).

Reported by suara.com, Ganjar also expressed his hopes in front of the cardamom farmers who are members of CV Kapulogi Jaya Mandiri. He said that the Central Java Provincial Government is pushing for an increase in the quality of agricultural produce. So that agricultural commodities from Central Java can be global.

“After there are second, third and fourth orders, the quality is maintained. Success, yes,” said Ganjar.

Previously, Ganjar and the Ministry of Agriculture also released cardamom exports to China in mid-2020. The Semarang Agricultural Quarantine noted that health certification for cardamom exports to China from January to 11th April 2020 reached 9 times. This record was followed by a volume of 118 tons.

This figure shows a significant increase compared to last year’s exports. With the same country destination, only 13 times were recorded throughout the year with a volume of 170 tons.
