The Future of Nickel Sulfate

The nickel sulfate is the result of refining on Obi Island, South Halmahera, North Maluku Province. This commodity will be used in the production of lithium batteries with a high nickel content. So, the use of lithium batteries is predicted to continue to increase. Especially in the electric vehicle industry.

“This is the work of the nation’s children in Eastern Indonesia. This is an important step for Indonesia to become a key player in the electric vehicle battery industry in the future. As well as a new contributor in the export of nickel downstream products which can boost the regional and national economy,” said Roy while giving appreciation.
